TESTIMONIALS

“ The entire process from start to finish was so personal and professional. Occipital took painstaking care to create such a special piece for our home that we’ll cherish forever. She explained everything thoroughly every step of the way, was totally transparent about each step of the process, and made sure we were satisfied and happy at every turn. Thank you for this amazing future family heirloom! “ — JP. Los Angelos, CA

“ We've been following @OCCIPITAL NYC for a while now and loved her work. We loved the way she captured the human form in motion. So when it came time to set up our peloton workout space, we reached out to get a commissioned piece that would capture the cyclist in movement. Giana did an amazing job. The process was straightforward and smooth as we virtually reviewed several sketches before settling on the final design. It came out great and we're excited to own a 1-of-1 original piece of art. Thanks again @OCCIPITAL NYC. “ — RA. Queens, NY

“ I met Giana thanks to a mutual friend. I immediately liked her style and we spent the dinner talking about her work and how she decided to become a painter full time. At that time, I wanted to decorate my room and thought that Occipital was suited for what I was looking for; something extravagant, classy, edgy, young and with character. We sat down a couple of times and she was extremely open to answer all of my questions and understand my doubts; she showed me sketches she made, came to the apartment, picked different colors and together we pictured what the final drawing would be. After all her efforts, I felt extremely confident she understood what I was looking for and from then on I wanted Giana to express herself in this painting, I wanted her to be creative, to do her own thing and have fun with it. The result is amazing! We both were excited about it and I think the painting expresses both me and her. And I am not the only one who loves my new room wall.. Every time I have someone over they stare at my two beautiful ladies and they love it, they recognize me in it.
Giana is an amazing painter with an unparalleled style and her professionalism makes it look like she has been doing this for ages; her will to understand who am I as a person and what I was looking for is exactly what makes this mural unique. ” — FL. New York, NY 2015

“ Giana's work is edgy yet feminine which is a true reflection of her personal style. You get lost in her lines, they bring you into an abstract world that connects both art and fashion. While minimalistic in feel her pieces make a bold statement. Prior to the inception of Occipital I had only seen a thumbnail of Giana's unique work. It immediately resonated and I knew I needed a piece for my home. I later went on to buy four more. Giana's work is continually evolving however she remains true to her unique aesthetic and brand. She is a creative whose authenticity is embodied in both her work and everyday life. I'm proud to call her a dear friend.“ — LC. Designer. New York, NY 2015

“ The work of Giana Sacco blends the intrigue of fashion and movement with archetypal gestures of a linear style. Visually and conceptually the Occipital collection directs attention to the simplicity of form and revisits the origins of story through movement. “ — DC. Art Curator. Brooklyn, NY 2016

“ The first time I saw Giana's work was a huge mural painted off of the L Train. It was a feminine image which looked like a cross between Cruella Deville and an African tribeswomen. I loved it and commissioned her for a piece within the week. “ — VR. Brooklyn, NY 2016

“ I have known of and been a fan of Giana Sacco's work for many years, and was so pleased to be able to present an Occipital mural in the Granoff Center. Our annual mural project offers an opportunity for emerging artists to showcase their work in an interdisciplinary arts center. Giana's work, which so effortlessly fuses fine art and high fashion, is a perfect addition to a space which showcases the work of Brown's painters and fashion designers in equal measure. “ — CD. Assistant Director. Granoff Center. Brown University. Providence, RI
